Nematode, again this week. I have to look at them in lectures, still pictures and animations, dealing with them alive in the lab. These two pictures are nematodes’ head and mouth. The color is artificial. I might even post some animations later 🙂 I personally quite like the predator type of the nematodes. They way they feed on other namatodes are just… gross, cruel and amazing. One thing you should know is that human only have twice the number of genes than these worms, which don’t even have brain and eyes.
The worms in many scary and gross Sci-fi movies are not completed fictioned.
