Now I am back to emusic music download service. $15 a month, 65 downloads, 192kps VBR DRM-Free MP3 encoded by LAME 3.92, the classic LAME version, although people say 3.97beta might be better.
This is probably the only legal music downlaod website located in USA that offers music compatible with iPod. Other music download service usually provide DRM wma files.
emusic usually only provide independent lable music. Well, there are still a lot for me to choose from. Like Bjork’s Live Box (4CD), now I have all of them downloaded. I also found Black Box Recorder, I can replace some of my old files with them and I am also downloading some of the songs from their “new” album in 2003. Their album Passionoia cost $17 on amazon.com. So emusic is very affordable, and you can really show your support to the artist. I would consider get some Pixies as well.
BTW, I just found out Black Box Recoder is now with One Little Indian, which Bjork is with.
