Actually this is no news. Universal Binary was release on June 19th but I did not know.
By setting the path to tools, you can combine BioX with Fink to utilize the full power of Intel chips. Because you can install EMBOSS, clustalw and so on in Fink and they will be compiled for your Intel processor.
