今天早上雪花纷飞，我前往学校时接近10点，在公车上就已经看到至少7辆警车呼啸而过，按照法律公车停靠在路边等待他们经过。到实验室之后查VT.edu就已经看到说学生宿舍发生枪击事件。不过我还是按照计划前往健康中心。路上给妈妈打了个电话，说发生了枪击。到达健康中心之前都仍然看到警车呼啸而过。不过健康中心lock down了，大家不能进去也不能出来。 返回实验室的路上我确定闻到金属加热的气味，不知道是不是警察或者枪杀者设计散发出来的气味。风很大，距离也比较远，我不是很确定。不过回到实验室继续关注，学校已经限制大家离开建筑物，也要求大家考虑安全因素不要站到窗边。 之后确认是发生了两起枪击。一起是早上7点在学生宿舍，一死一伤；之后10点，也就基本上在我在室外的时候，发生第二起多重枪击，而且是在教室里。截止目前，已经有31人身亡，设计者也已经丧命。布什讲在今天下午4点15分发表讲话，州长也扭转前往日本的飞机正在赶回。 据目击者称，设计者是以为大约20岁的亚裔。目前还不确人是外国人，是日本人韩国人中国人还是哪国的，或者是否是出生在美国的亚裔。教室枪击事件发生在Norris Hall是我现在和以前的室友的系楼，所幸他们都没有事。目前还没有消息表明有中国人受伤。目前也没有发现有我认识的人受伤。 死亡人数已经超过之前发生在德州的记录14人，而且是远远超过，成为发生在校园上平民死亡人数最多的枪击事件。实际上甚至超过了包括发生在所有平民地点的枪击事件记录Luby’s Massacare，成为美国历史上伤亡人数最多的平民枪击惨案。 UPDATE 1: 州长称目前还在日本，本来计划是要前往印度，协商Virginia Tech在印度建立校区的事情。不过目前计划在明天下午的时候返回到Virginia Tech。

我发现我在做饭的时候心情都比较平静。以后如果心情烦躁不安，估计可以用做饭的方法来自我镇定。恩，好主意。 听说打坐沉思冥想(meditation)也很有益心智，以后也可以尝试。 另外，要恭喜董珂同学考研成功。在可以预见的将来，大概可以在JHU看到他的身影了。前途无量啊！顺便也要恭喜他用上iMac。

很激动的看到Bjork经过两年半，Tori Amos两年的准备，他们的新专辑下个月即将发布了。我已经在iTunes上预定了，而且单曲Big Wheel也下载下来了。 Bjork发布了Earth Intruders的单曲，单曲封面造型“惊艳”，乐曲超级诡异，乐迷评价很高。我倒是要看看Bjork是如何在这张专辑里面传说中的“回归”的。 在Tori Amos的主页上可以听到Big Wheel和Bouncing off Clouds。我觉得Boucing off Clouds相当好听，比起首先发布的Big Wheel还要好。Tori在这张专辑里面也是大玩造型，就像Strange Little Girl里面那样。
