Why Obama could be a mistake for the US?

Obama may be going down as of now. But who knows, he may end up being the next president of the United States of America.

I do not about Hillary Clinton. I certainly know McCain could be a disaster, as is Bush. And I have a feeling, that Obama could be a huge mistake for the US.

Obama, welcomed by black and young more compared to other candidates, is not a trust worthy person from my observation. And here is why.

He is half black, grow up in a pure white family. The true anti-racist value would be that, you are not defined by your skin color. But apparently, he define himself as black, because of his color, and probably because that would be good for his political career. He is NOT black judging from his background. It is like saying American born Chinese are at least 50% the same as Chinese grow up in China.

One of the things he says most, as far as I can see in a couple of debates, is “That is simply/just not true”. Well, while other candidates may have been making things up, but based on how frequent he says this, I doubt he really means it. Also there are cases where I do not think his explanation of why it is not true is valid.

Like Hillary has pointed out, he does not take responsibility for his votes. He always make up stories to explain his votes, and never take responsibilities for maybe “wrong” votes. But naturally all Senators “make mistakes”. He also vote a lot of presence, very likely just to avoid taking responsibilities later, especially on debatable issues.

Hillary once pointed out that he voted against a bill which would limit the interest rate credit card companies can charge to be 30%. His chicanery was “30% is too high”. Well, is that even a legit reason for voting against the bill, especially when there is no cap at all, as pointed out by John Edwards. In the same debate, he argued that he voted presence for many bills, simply because these bills are not good enough, or have flaws. Under the same logic, he should have voted presence, or something like that for the 30% cap bill. He did not. While 30% cap is still high, but it is better than no cap, I bet everyone can agree on this. If Obama thought 30% is too high, that means he is against credit card companies’ practices. But voting no will do credit card companies good, that is what what they wanted. So apparently, what he said is not true. Or he is stupid and do not understand how to vote. What surprise me more is that, he can turn this into something good for him. He said 30% is too high, and he got applause, which is ridiculous. It sounds like he is right, that is too high. But that totally hides what he really is for. Shame on him.

His medical care is not universal either. He argues that the medical care in his system will be affordable enough for everyone. But if you still opt out, you will not be covered. This is fundamentally not a universal health care. He even wants to fine adults for failing to insure their children. I do not see how this is a significant improvement to American health care system. And it is very different from other democrat ideas for medical care.

And there is propaganda behind him which seems to be very sneaky too. The last issue of Time magazine, I received yesterday morning, is very surprising and I feel so pissed by how politics works. In order to persuade people to vote for him, there are articles saying how “experience does not matter” for becoming president. And “science” proves it. Wow, I am so impressed, like Americans are going to believe science can prove experience does not matter? When they are talking about global warming or climate change, American mainstream media has always been doing FUD, like there is no solid scientific evidence for that, and science does not prove human activities are responsible for changes. Also, Americans are afraid of Muslim. The online circulated picture of Obama in Muslim clothing in the TIME magazine has become a “ceremonial attire” compared with Bush, Clinton and other people. TIME magazine also attack Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton in this issue. And we all know conservatives control American main stream media. Perhaps they figured that McCain vs Obama is much easier than McCain vs Hillary. And that’s why many republicans voted for Obama in some open primaries.

OK, science says experience is overrated. I say Obama is totally overrated.

Oh by the way, when he refused to wear something or put his hand on his heart, he says it is a sign for change. When he plagiarize some speech from someone who has been a disappointment for voters, he explain why not it is good speech. Or something like that. Just like what he always does, in Chinese, 忽悠. A word made famous by 赵本山.
