Finally I got myself a Mighty Mouse after a long time hesitation. I tried it out at the bookstore several times before I decided that this could make my life with computer a little bit easier.
After using it for while, I finally know that I need to have my two fingers on and then click to get an obsolute left click. Sometimes I click with a single finger somewhere left below the scroll ball and got a right click which bothered me. I am not sure whether this is a defect of this single product. However if I have my two fingers on it, and I will never got a right click. Some people find it annoying because when they right click they have to lift their finger. Well I feel it OK because I kind of lift my finger even when I am using PC mouse. The scroll ball is nice. It is more sensitive and smoother than my previous Logitech notebook mouse. Feels more confortable when I do middle click. But I worry about how to clean it after some time of using it as well as many people do. People have reported that after 2 months because of dirt his scroll ball stopped working. I will see. Because I love my trackpad on my PowerBook so I find to scroll horizontally is quite nice. So, pros:
- Beautiful design: “white(WTH?!)”, simple, smooth, innovative.
- Scroll ball function is good and really feels good for me.
- Bigger than my notebook mouse and my hand feel better on it.
- Quite a high-tech gadget with pressure sensitivity.
- Looks just right with your Apple product. LOL
- Squeeze it to activate expose or dashboard or show desktop is just a very efficient way I just want to have.
- Not wireless. I want bluetooth wireless mouse actually.
- Not quite mobile. Bring it from home to work and then back home, will definitely not be so easy.
- Squeeze is a little bit weird. Kind of requires more pressure then it is supposed to be. But I can handle it as it is a cool way to activate expose.
